Traffic Advisory

Event: Easter Parade / Egg Hunt

Date: March 24, 2018

Time: 9:45-11:00 (approximately)

Parade Route / Areas Affected: North Division Street from the Roundabout South to Main Street. Main Street East to South Brown Street.

The Fruitland Police Department would like to warn motorists and citizens to expect travel delays, due to road closures for the annual Easter Parade. The parade route will be closed to traffic no less than 15 minutes before the 10:00 AM start time and will open to traffic immediately following (approximately 11:00 AM). Roads will be blocked with barricades for the safety of parade participants. Police and Fire Police will be on hand to direct traffic and provide alternate routes of travel.

They better not drive too fast (speed cameras), better check license tag lights (reason to pull you over), not make improper lane changes, etc. Fruitland is the absolute riskiest place to drive as a law abiding citizen. The ratio of cops to residents has got to be the highest in the state. I do my best to avoid fruitland when I can.
